Dear Reader,

Precisely three years ago this October, an unexpected encounter with an image on my social media platform led me to a site featuring some of the most captivating countryside imagery I had ever seen. There, amidst the cloudless skies, a muddy track, scurrying mice in the tall grass, a sea of wildflowers, and a red kite soaring to freedom, the initial form of my new novel emerged. Set in the beautiful rural landscapes of a quaint village in Europe. Happy to report the novel is nearing completion with only three chapters left to write. Stay tuned for more details.
